From Farm Boy to University Graduate
My journey with Pilgrims Childcare Foundation (PCF) began in my village, Imua, where I grew up as a farm boy. The PCF missionaries’ arrival transformed my life. They recognized my potential, found a sponsor for my education, and introduced me to Christ. I gave my life to Jesus, and my life was forever changed.
Aisha’s Story: Breaking Barriers through Education
In 2014, Pilgrims Ministries (Pilgrims Childcare Foundation) visited our village in Baruten LGA, Kwara State, and established a Nursery and Primary School. As a Fulani girl of 10 yrs, I was denied education by my parents due to cultural beliefs that prioritize early marriage over female education. However, I took the initiative to enroll myself in the school, and to my surprise, my parents didn’t object.
